lost wire transfer

I requested via writing a wire transfer of sizable amt of money to be sent to my bank (sun trust.) the institution said they transferred the money and sun trust has the money. sun trust claims i used the wrong routing number and doesn't see the money. no one is willing to do anything more. am i out the money??? what do i do?

You said the request was in writing. Was this on a form provided for that purpose? Did you keep a copy? These should be reviewed as they may affect your remady.
