Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Alabama
My bankrupcy lawyer didn't show up to court. judge asked if we could proceed without and we agreed. Also, lawyer was told twice to get my mom's name off the house deed before proceedings. She agreed twice...didn't do it and then my mom's name was in the paper under the foreclosure proceedings along with our names. She was mortified and cried for a whole day. Should we still pay her the $1000 fee?
