I filed for bankruptcy..I had co-signed a loan with my brother and now my bankruptcy is showing up on his credit report how can I get it off of his credit?

Your brother will need to dispute the status of the account on his credit report with the credit reporting agency (Equifax, Experian or TransUnion) that is reporting the inaccuracy.

A bankruptcy listing on a credit report that a CO-DEBTOR filed bankruptcy may be legitimate and is, in fact, common. A listing that HE filed bankruptcy is not legitimate, and he should challenge it.
