Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Alabama
Bankruptcy and job applications
I am about to become a school teacher, however, I've managed to allow myself to become overextended by debt. I'm thinking about filing bankruptcy, but I'm afraid this might ruin my chances of ever becoming a school teacher. Can future employers deny me a teaching job due to the fact that I filed bankruptcy or do they even have the right to ask for a credit check?
