Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Alabama
no longer employed
I am a stay at home wife, my husband is the only one with an income, I am filing for bankruptcy, these debts were obtained before I met and married my husband, obviously his name is not on any of the paper work. My husband is the only income provider, will he be responsible for any of these debts or is he ''free and clear'' ? I have had many sleepless nights worrying about this
Thanks !!!!!!!!

Re: no longer employed
Based upon your statements: No. You need to file before October 10th if you can to make sure you "beat" the new law.
