Legal Question in Business Law in Alabama
If an authorized company person sends me an email agreeing to cancel a contract, can this same person come back later and say the contract is not canceled because it is not in writing?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the last time I checked, emails are in writing. Point this fact out to the company you are dealing with, and further, that the email agreeing to cancel originated from them. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
