Legal Question in Business Law in Alabama
A fellow employee, that I room with at his apartment, has now been moved to doing company payroll. He now bullies me about when I should pay him the rent when I have a good check, etc. Is there anything I can do?

As a renter you should obtain a contract that stipulates what day of the month you are to pay rent. This can be something very simple that both parties sign in front of a notary as an agreement how much rent should be and how long the contract is good for. In addition it should state how many days you must give notice in order to vacate your rented property.
