Legal Question in Business Law in Alabama
Do I need to be licensed in any way to offer consulting services to someone on how to start a business? Example... Help them properly fill out and process LLC paperwork, advise them the directions on filing state paperwork, etc? Are there any legal liabilities I could possibly occur by offering services?

You don't have to be licensed but you can not take money for those services and you are liable for the advise you give which may be incorrect or not complete.
