Legal Question in Business Law in Alabama
Payment Agent
I have been asked by a company from China to help them collect debt from their customers. I keep 10% of everything that I collect. Then send them the remainder. Is there anything illegal in this regard?

Re: Payment Agent
are the transactions in anyway involving consumer products? if so, at a minimum you would be subject to the federal fair debt collections practices act. you should consult with a competent commercial law attorney before proceeding any further. if we can be of assistance please let us know. Good luck and have a blessed weekend and Lord's Day, Chip
