Legal Question in Technology Law in Alabama
Peer to Peer Networking
With all the litigation concerning copyright violations in Peer to Peer networking, I've been very concerned that my 21 year old son or 25 year old daughter might download copyright music. I've constantly letcured both children on the legalities and discouraged illegal downloading. My main concern is that when I'm out of town I can't monitor all the activity on my home computer. The computer and internet connection is in my name so I fear the possibility that I could be held liable.
