Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Alabama
I was recently pulled over by a city police officer. There was not a motor vehicle violation involved. I do not have a valid driver's license. When the officer approached me he stated that he and I both know that I am not supposed to be driving. That was his whole reason for the stop. I want to know if it was a legal stop or was my Constitutional rights have been violated in any way? Is it legal criminally?

If the officer knew who you were and had reasonable grounds to believe you could not legally drive, then he had every right to pull you over.
