Legal Question in Construction Law in Alabama
My Father is a general contractor dealing mostly in framing and construction. He recently accepted a job building a doctors office in another city. When applying for the permits to build the doctors office the city told the doctors office that perhaps they should build 'elsewhere', and suggested another site. After looking at the new site the doctors decided that no, the still wanted the original building site. They obtained the permits and hired my father and his crew to build this building. Since then, OSHA has been watching my father and waiting on them to 'mess up' and writing them up for a a few fines, which are MUCH more than the job even pays. It seems that the city is harassing them in an attempt to keep them from building there. Is there anything that can be done?

OSHA has no relations with the city. It is your imagination.
