Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
contract law
I have lived in Alabama for years and I have always heard that in this state a verbal agreement is as binding as a written agreement. Is this true?

Re: contract law
I'll give you a very lawyerly answer and say, it depends. There are some verbal agreements which are binding and enforceable, but there are others which are not. It all depends on the type of agreement and the specific facts.
