Glamour Portraits refund not returned from deposit sent by mail

Have not received my $40.00 refund which was a deposit I paid by check in the mail to their office in Alabama. I called them and was told ''she'' won't cut the checks until next month sometime. I am afraid I will not get my money back.

I received my free 8x10 portrait that I was entitled to, but had to send in $50.00 just to get the proofs and pick out my 8x10. I have returned the proofs and they have sent the picture, but not my money. What should I do in this situation? Thank you.

Report it to the attorney general's office. Then go online to see if there is a class action suit being formed to deal with this type situation. it does not sound like this would be worth the time and expense of small claims court.
