Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
Lemon Law?
I purchased a used truck on tuesday night and 35 minutes after leaving the dealership, the oil pump went out. The dealership came and got the truck but is now saying it needs another motor that they are willing to pay for. Can I back out of this contract due to the extreme circumstances?

Re: Lemon Law?
Alabama's lemon law applies to new vehicles.
I would check the wording of your contract for something specific, but you should certainly be able to back out since the vehicle is not fit for its particular purpose. Like driving!
