Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
Lemon Laws for Industrial Equipment
Are there any Lemon Laws that cover the purchase of Material Handling Equipment, whether in the state the equipment is located, or the state from which it is sold?

Re: Lemon Laws for Industrial Equipment
The Alabama lemon law only applies to automobiles; however, the Federal Manuson-Moss Warranty Act might cover your claims if the equipment is still under warranty. Under that law, if you have given the manufacturer/dealer a reasonable number of repair attempts (3 probably), and they have been unable to repair the equipment, you are entitled to a repurchase by the manufacturer. Please call me at (205) 254-3927 if you have any questions.
