Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
money judgement
I won judgement and have had the sheiffs seize the persons thruck. The thruck was sold at action for one hundred dollars and now the person is taking me to court saying he did not get credit from the sale. He did not do a claim of exemption or turn over the keys. Does he have the right to take me to court?

Re: money judgement
I am not sure what kind of "credit" you are referencing. From your standpoint, the only "credit" the person would be entitled to, is the amount that you actually received from the sale of the truck. You have to subtract all amounts you receive a a result of the judgment from the judgement amount still owed. If this is not what you are referencing, more information is needed to fully understand your question.
