Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
returned merchandise
I bought a home entertainment center from a furniture store. The item was too large for the room it was in. I asked the dealer to take it back. I volentered to pay for pickup and to pay for a new press board backing plate that was cut to receive a new television i purchased. The dealer refused. The store did not advertise that all sales were final. What legal recourse do I have.
Thanks,

Re: returned merchandise
Well, it would probably cost more in legal fees than the entertainment center cost. Real world advice here....
Try to sell the entertainment center to someone else who might can use it, take the money to buy another one. Be sure to measure next time.
Good Luck
