Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
small claims
auto repairman agreed to repair a bumper and strip and paint my hood on my 01 expedition. he stated that i had to buy the paint for $250 and it would be a 2-3 day job.he kept my car for three weeks, i had to get the police to help.the police found out that he was using an alias and he was not licensed to repair cars.he did no work on the bumper and messed my hood up by putting corvet plaster on the top and spot sanding it. he then only gave me $100 back. it is now going to cost about $300-$500 extra to get it repaired. what can i do? any suggesstions most appreciated.
