Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama
We started a lawsuit almost 3 years ago. The people we are suing have tried everything to get out of the suit and failed. Well, we were waiting on court date and just found out that sadly the attorney who is representing the defendants has passed away. My question is since they should have their case already to go and now just have to find some to present it.. What do you think is an expectable time for a judge to give them to get there "stuff" together, so that we can get to court and get this over with?

This depends very much on the Circuit and how crowded their docket happens to be. You can expect to wait at least 60 days before getting a new trial date.
