can collection agency call you at work and call a family members home

I have a collection agency that called me at work and is now calling the home of my daughter. I never gave my daughters information on the document. My daughters phone number isn't even in her name. Please advise me. Is this harrassment? What do I do?

I would write them a certified letter telling them that they can only contact you at your home, and if they contact you anywhere else, you will consider them in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Keep a copy of the letter for your records.
