being placed for collection

Can a debitor place for for collection although you are making monthly payments? The Debtor received a payment and placed me for collection 5 days later.

Were you still behind? Did you make a "full"

payment? You do not give me enough facts. If you were still behind after the payment, or it was not a payment in full or of what was agreed upon, then they probably have the right to turn you over to a collection agency,if not, then they might have a problem. You need to meet with an attorney in your area.
