creditcard debt

we havent been able to pay our cc,s for 3 yrs now- owe 50.000 i hav became disable and husband has retired he is 68 wat can they do?

They can sue you for the debt. If it is $50,000.00 as you say, then more then likely they will file a suit against you and your husband. If you fail to answer the complaint, they will seek and have granted a default judgment(s)for the amount owing, plus costs and interest. I suggest you contact a Bankruptcy attorney or a local attorney for assistance.
