default judgement
I recieved a default judgement against me for a 18,217.00 sears credit card ,including attorney fees and court cost is now 21,347.00. I recieve social security and a 210.00 month widows pension and I am 70 years old ,still owe a mortgage and car payment and raising a grandson of 16 what can happen to me?

The company could use post judgment collection practices (as with any judgment) on you to include garnishment or attaching the judgment to property. I would try to work with the company to come up with an equitable way to satisfy the judgment (payment plan or partial lump sum). Then get them to file a satisfaction of that judgment with the court.
