What happens when someone is in default of court? Defaulting to show on oweing money to someone over $10,000.00.

You apply for a default judgment. Once you obtain the judgment, you order a certificate of judgment from the clerk's office and record the judgment in the probate court of the county where the person lives. Then, you try to collect on the judgment through garnishment or execution.
