Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama

harrasment by creditors

I got sick due to my pregnancy and lost my job. I have fallen behind on my one credit card but they continuelly call my cell all day long, and call my parents house, which on several occasions my sister let them know that i dont live there . i told them i would beable to repay right after my pregnancy when i get back to work is this harrasment ?

Who is calling you - the original credit card company or a collection agency? Either way it is inappropriate to keep calling your family or to call you "all day long."
