Possible judgement if Credit card not settled

I have been contacted by a collections agency called NES ( Sears ) and they are demanding I pay a reduced amount by the end of the month. If it is not paid it will go to court. I want to pay the reduced amount but I just do not have it. I tried to set up payment arrangements but was told I could not. What are my options

You can't make them settle. How did they contact you? By letter or phone? Sometimes these collection agencies will cross the line and give you the option of turning the tables on them. Call or email us if you would like to chat.
