Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama
question, back in 2001 i had a judgement filed against me while i was on active duty in the army and i was not notified of this judgement and it was placed on my credit report this judgement just recently fell off of my credit report back in 2009 and now i am being notified that i am no longer protected under the soldier sailor act due to me being discharged from the army but how can a judgement be filed and not notify the plantiff

Service Members Civil Relief Act only protects those who are in the military, and you are not. The judgment was taken against you, apparently by default. I assume you were served by publication. If you were not, you can attempt to overturn the judgment, even now.
