Small Claims
We have a judgement against us in small claims we are going to have alien on our property. What does this mean?

A lien means that if you try to sell or refinance your home, you will be unable to do so unless you satisfy the lien. Also, the creditor could attempt to execute on your home and have it sold, but your homestead exemption will probably protect you for such an event.
