Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama

i was wonder if i can sue tmobile for allowing someone to open an account with my social security number but they spelled my name wrong...now to my understanding when someone opens a account tmobile has to run your credit and im pretty sure my real name popped up so that should have been a red flag...also it was opened over the phone so no I.D. was needed but i dont think that should make a difference....i didnt know the account was open until i checked my credit report and saw a $1500 balance for a tmobile account

Your question does not identify when the TMobile account was opened in your name or the date you discovered it on your credit report. However, depending on these dates and the full facts of your case you may have a viable cause of action against TMobile and the individual that impermissibably used your credit.
