Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama

I at one point was marry to two women.I did not know that i
was still to my first wife she stated that she had divorce me through legal aid. When i tried to obtain a copy of the paper work they denied me. My question is my second marriage legal and if not do i need to divorce this second wife.

Your second marriage is not valid, therefore, you do not need to divorce your second wife. You need to legally terminate your first marriage, and then you can legally marry your second wife.
