Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
Check decetion - Alabama
In Alabama, I supposedly have 7 bad checks from the 1990's that I did not write, but they was written on my account, I need to know what the statue of limitation is, at that time I did not even live in Alabama. Whats my best options? Thanks

your best options are to contact the DA's office on the status of the checks and you can do that yourself or retain a lawyer to do it and then present your case if there is an indictment
