Child Sodomy
Does a person who was 17,now 23,have to report to his neighbors that he was found guilty of child sodomy of a 6 year old? He has not ever done it. He also has 3 small children living in his home.Legal?

if convicted of crime that you describee reporting to neighbors is not required under ala law, but registering with sherrif is required within 30 days of release from custody, and after moving legal residence. failure to report is a crime punishible 1-5 years and/or 1,000.00. you need to consult with an attorney on this since you may have been granted youthful offender and that may have a bearing on reporting.
