Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama

drug bust

I have a relative that is a heavy pot smoker. I have tried to convince him to stop but, anyway if he is busted can he lose hishouse if the house is in his name?

That seems like a really unlikely scenario, unless he is involved in a drug ring and the government uses RICO law to seize property of drug dealers. If he just uses, the most he could be charged with would be possession of marijuana and/or paraphernalia, which is likely to elicit fines, probation and/or minimal jail time. That is all.
