Re: Felony Charges

It is very common for people to get arrested for doing things they had a legal right to do, so it is certainly possible for someone to get charged with attempted murder on their own property. But there is a big difference between being charged with a crime and being convicted of a crime. Just because the police arrest a person for a crime doesn't necessarily mean they can get a conviction on that person.

The best advice is to hire an experienced criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible to fight this charge. A charge of attempted murder is very serious, and the person charged will need an aggressive and properly planned defense. If our office can be of any assistance, please feel free to give us a call.
