Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
I Have Just Found Out That The Statute Of Limiations For A Felony Is Three(3) Years ALABAMA CODE- 15-3-5. If This Is True, How Did They Put Me On Trial ? On A Case, Where The People Waited Twenty(20) Years To File A Complaint.

More information would be necessary to answer your question. If a complaint was made years earlier, it depends on what the complaint was for. In sex cases they can be many years later as well as murder cases.
