Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
goverment pardons
I was convicted in 1992 for a misdameaner offense of sexual assualt in the second degree. I pleaded no contest as per my attorneys advice. I served 2 years of supervised probation and fines. I did all those things the probation and paid the fines. My probation record was excellent. I have no record or arrests with the law any time before or after this is my only offense. I want to now how or if I can get a pardon from the govenor to erase this off my record. It is a one time mistake I will always regret.

Re: goverment pardons
the governor has the ability to grant pardons for criminal offenses. not many are granted and you will probably need an attorney to help you.
