Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
My husband was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and at the same time the person that made the buy also stole my wallet and went to walmart and spent $2000 so the police wont help me prosecute him cause he works for them, they also edited the video i gave them from walmart and i have the persons cell number..what needs to be done so this persons creditability is nothing and my husbands trial will be thrown out

Go to the district attorney in the county where this occurred and discuss the stolen wallet with them and do not go into the sale of the controlled substance. This is two different things and they can find out what they want to find out about the unlawful distribution....i.e., don't help them. If you prosecute on the stolen wallet and money, that is enough to discredit their testimony. I would work more on getting that person prosecuted than worrying about your husband at this point.
