Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
My husband and I were co defendants in a case. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison and I was placed on 3 years community corrections. We are legally married and have a daughter. The judge ordered me no contact. Is this legal considering that we are legally married and have a daughter?

It would not appear on the face to be legal, but it may be in regard to the daughter. How old is the daughter and what were the charges. If the charges involved your daughter, then obviously he can say have no contact.
