Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
An inmate is convicted and sentenced to life without parole, he was 17 years old when convicted and he is now 27 years old, he has been informed that someone wants to confess that someone else actually did the crime and wants to speak up, what can he do if he doesnt have money for a lawyer?

He could contact the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery. Also, I would advise to get the person who did the crime to write a letter to the Judge and the District Attorney
