Kidnapping
I was charged with 1st degree kidnapping and the charge was dropped without prejudise. I was then rearrested for the same charge. My question is how can they rearrest me for the same chargeand what can they do to me now?

When the charges were dropped without prejudice, that meant that the state could bring back the charges, within the appropriate statute of limitations, if it wanted to do so. Apparently, they decided to do so. If they are still within the applicable statute of limitations, and you are indicted, you will need to secure an attorney to represent you. Depending on the circumstances of your case, it may be in your interests to testify at the grand jury and/or talk to the D.A. before the case goes to the grand jury. You should hire an attorney immediately in order to protect you as best as possible.
