murder convictions
can a manslaughter charge be up graded to murder after you ave gone before the judge and ordered to go before the grand jury. what happens after then

The judge does not change the charge, it has to come from the prosecution and it has to be done before a jury is sworn. So if you have only been before the judge, then the charge can be changed but it has to be supported by evidence to support the charge.
