possesion of forged instrument
What measures can I take in this scenario here I cashed a check for someone I didnt know went to the bank 3 days later to deposit the check in my account. Didnt deposit check or cash it left the bank to wait on phone call to clear check that the bank still had possesion of and was apprehended by the police arrested not allowed to make a phone call and wasnt booked or arrested until the next evening after being detained the prvious morning,lost my job as a result of not being able to use phone and couldnt call anyone or a lawyer to let them know where I was. Lost the money that I cashed the check with. I was also told by investigator that the check was stolen they know by an employee. Lost the car that I was renting to go to work and now also have a outstanding bill for that as result of loosing job. Do I have a case agianst anybody here. One, my job stated I was terminated for not calling in when I did call the first day I was out.I was arrested on a monday morning released on Tuesday night and was terminated on Wednesday. And my job had knowledge of the arrest. Do I have a case that I file charges on.
