Re: robbery one

Your son is facing a very serious charge. Depending on his age and his criminal history, he might be eligible for youthful offender status. While I have succeeded in getting youthful offender status for young men charged with robbery before, it is actually quite rare for a judge to grant youthful offender status on a robbery 1 charge. I would need to know more details about your son's case before knowing whether he would be eligible for youthful offender treatment.

Whether or not he gets youthful offender status, he will still need to prepare an aggressive defense against the charge against him. He is facing the risk of incarceration under either situation, and he will need an experienced criminal defense lawyer involved in his case to protect him.

Our firm handles criminal defense cases on a statewide basis. If you would like to discuss your son's case with us in more detail, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email.

Good luck to you, and let us know whether we can be of any assistance.
