Selfdefense?

i'm 17,a few nights ago 3 of my friends n myself decided 2 ride around.as we left we saw a car was following us very closely w/ its brights on.At a light i stepped out 2 see what he wanted.Saying''what do u want?''he replied''Wtf r doing?i'll beat the Fu__ out of u!etc.Tell the driver 2 pull over!''i got bck in the car.we decided not 2 stop b/c he was either drunk or on drugs n figured he was dangerous.This made me worry so i opened my knife n held it.He drove beside us shouting, i rolled my window down.he was still making threats.then he sped up n got in front of us n slammed on his brakes 2 make us stop.we had 2 go around.At the next light, he pulled up,got out of the car,swung into my window.As he did,i put my knife up 2 cover my face.he hit it.Jerked his arm(his arm was cut, 5'' long n deep) out n drove away.Days later it all got out.Unfortunately i didn't go 2 the police whn it happened b/c i wasn't sure what 2 do.he did n i think he said i attacked him.im having assualt charges brought up on me.im wondering what i should do.Please help.the others w/ me were 18,18,17.the guy is 20-21he was alone

you need to consult an attorney immediately. if there is a warrant issued against you there will be an arrest and bond will have to be made. you need an attorney before the warrant is issued to help you through the process. please call me at 205-879-9595 and i will be glad to help you. make sure that you have the names and addresses and phone numbers of the people in your vehicle. we will need them as witnesses.
