Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
My son and a couple friends stole some atvs .they took them out of state and sold them.They have his friends but he is on the run.He is 19 and his girlfriend is 17.She took her grandmothers car and 3 safes that had money in them.I dont know what all he is facing but I dont have money to get him a lawyer.Should he go talk to the police without a lawyer or wait till I can get him one?I talked to one cop and he said it is over $100,000.00 in stuff and there is alot of people involved.Please help.

By no means should he talk to police without a lawyer. There will be no deal on the table and anything he says can be used against him.
