Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama

warrants

I was by an attorney that the state of Georgia does not enforce warrants from the state of Florida.

I want to know if I have a warrant out for my arrest, for possession of cocaine will that be an issue in the state of Alabama if I am pulled over in that state?

I have a valid Georgia Driver's Liscense. When I went to get this liscense I had n o questions or troubles even though the warrant was in effect at that time.

The warrant may not have been put into NCIC/GCIC yet. Consider yourself lucky that you weren't arrested. You need to get an attorney to negociate a plea deal for you and arrange to have yourself turned in. It will only catch up to you the longer you wait and it may be worse the longer you wait to take care of this. Of couse the choice is yours. Call my office if I can be of any further assistance.
