Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
i had a woman sign 17 warrants on me for contributing to the delenquincy of a minor and now the courts wont appoint me an attorney because its a misdemeanor. they said i would have to hire one. but she has no witnesses and no proof. i go to court the 16 of this month. can you tell me if this is right and if it is what can i do??

If there is a chance of you spending any jail time, they have to appoint you a lawyer
