Legal Question in Criminal Law in Alabama
wrongly convicted
there has been a man wrongly convicted of a crime. there is new evidence to prove his innocents . even the d.a said there were lots of mistakes during the trial . the lawyer did not do his job like he was supposed to there for this man was sent to prison . now his new lawyr is trying to get him back to court . but the judge keep putting him off becouse this will look bad for them.pleasa sent me help.

Don't always count on what you hear is being said. If you have personal knowledge of his innocence then of course it is important to come forward. But basically a Rule 32 needs to be filed, which is different from an appeal. I work these all the time and have represented many. I do not know where you are but will be happy to look at the case. Care has to be taken in doing a Rule 32 because you can only do it one time and it must be done within a certain period of time.
