Re: Cost of filing

The price for filing a lawsuit actually varies by different Counties (or if you are in federal court), and also depends on whether you are filing for a Jury claim or not. Additionally, it depends on the value of the claim in question. As to incorporating in Alabama it is not terribly expensive, but different Judges' of Probate may have different fees so I can't answer that simply. Of course, if you need an attorney to draft up the Articles of Incorporation, there are charges to pay your attorney. If you would like me to handle your incorporation, I can do so in Jefferson County (Birmingham area). Please give me a call if you have any questions - 205-458-1100.
